Founder Institute (FI) launches virtual “Food Tech Programme”

The Founder Institute, the world’s premier pre-seed startup accelerator, is launching the first-ever global virtual “Food Ecosystem Program” as part of the Finland Virtual Fall 2020 program. The program will run from September 9th, 2020 – December 18th, 2020. Any pre-seed entrepreneur interested in building a food or agritech startup is encouraged to apply, including aspiring founders with a full-time job, solo founders, teams, and founders of established companies (pre-funding).

The Founder Institute is a unique program that focuses on founders instead of ideas, and helps founders and companies get to traction and funding at the pre-seed stage. As a result, the focus is on the Founder versus the idea in the admissions process. The Predictive Admissions Assessment is a required component of the admissions process, and the current iteration takes approximately 45-90 minutes to complete. The test is administered online, and has been translated into nine different languages.

The entire global program will run virtually, so no physical presence is required. The weekly mandatory sessions are scheduled to take place starting 8.30AM PDT / 11:30AM EDT / 5:30PM CET / 6:30 EET and will last for 3 hours. Food Tech Programme helps early-stage food entrepreneurs build innovative businesses in the Helsinki Founder Institute through:
